Fumicino Airport-Rome

I'm flying into rome and have to make a connection to Florence. Anyone familiar with the airport and connections? I'm sure it wont be too difficult navigating around but the more info I can get the better.

Follow the signs to flight connections. I think you may have to go through Customs/Security as you are staying in Italy. However, you will not have to claim your bags.

You will arrive in Terminal B/C (They're effectively one in the same as far as you are concerned) and all domestic flights take off from Terminal A, a short walk away.

Rene,

As posted, it's a very easy airport to get around...

If you're headed to Firenze (Florence) then you will leave out of A terminal or AA terminal if you're on a commuter flight. If you're code-sharing (probably with Alitalia) you won't see your bags until Firenze. If not, you will have to go through the Arrivals terminal at "B" (C is closed indefinitely) and then head upstairs to check in to your next flight... the escalator to the LEFT of the B terminal exit doors will take you up to ticketing... Once up top - head LEFT to A or AA depending on your Airline and check-in gate. The arrivals are on level "0" - the ticketing is on level 1 - and shopping is on level 2!

If you need more detailed info (I seem to live at this airport picking folks up) send me a PM.

Ciao,
Ron
