My husband and I will be at the Toulouse airport on a Saturday afternoon in September. He'd love to see Normandy and we have to return to the Toulouse Airport no later than noon on the the next Friday. What do you suggest for transportation up there, and then how to get around once we're there - and where to go, too? Many of you are expert travelers and I really appreciate any advice you can give us because we don't know what we're doing.

Easiest would round trip air to Paris CDG, then rent a car. Air France is showing $135 pp rt.

Actually, it's slightly faster from Orly. The previous remark seemed unusual to me, having driven it, so I checked viamichelin.com.
Also, you could fly Toulouse-Caen round trip for about $330, picking up a car in Normandy. Check skyscanner.com.
