Thanks for sharing- it is interesting to see Malta portrayed this way, considering how conservative they are in other areas- divorce was only legalised relatively recently (and the terms under which it can be applied are still quite strict) and abortion is also illegal in most circumstances.

It's a shame the article didn't mention the annual slaughter of migrating birds, a real stain on the island's identity.
