have an 8 day trip coming up between March-April. landing in Paris, leaving from London. returning to visit Normandy region and will be in Bayeux for 2.5 days. from there have another 2.5 days for detour before going to London. the two options are to ferry to Portsmouth and stop in York, or an ambitious train hopper including an overnight in Paris, early train to Brussels for 36 hours and then taking Eurostar to London. can't really decide which is better (or worse) idea. the train travel isn't the issue, it's where to stay and what to see- if the time allowance is doable. any thoughts?
