food in Ireland

I am taking a 14 day Ireland tour this June. I don't eat flour and suger and would like some hints on daily shopping. Are there small grocery stores where I could buy salads, fruit and yogurt?

Yes, of course you can buy fruit, salads, and yogurt in Ireland. They eat, too! If you are on a tour, you will be in towns large enough to have grocery stores, or there are convenience stores attached to gas stations, and many of them have great delis.

Yep, like Nancy said. In smaller towns, it may be more like a convenience store, with a little more selection than what you'd have in a US convenience store. In the bigger cities, even the small markets like Spar have a good selection.

If you are on an organized tour that includes meals you should contact the tour company and tell them maybe they can arrange something for you.

In Ireland Guinness is one of the basic food groups, no flour, no sugar just goodgoodgoodness.
