From the airline web site as early as possible for the best deals.

Maryam, What Frank said! You can find out which airlines fly between different cities at This Website.

I liked momondo.com for looking up prices for different airlines and then booking with the airline directly. Good budget airlines (from my experience, at least): WizzAir and easyJet.

Maryam, you have been given some excellent advice!
One more site that lists the lo-cost EU airlines is : http://www.flylowcostairlines.org/low-cost-airlines/ Don't forget to ensure that the airline you pick flys into/out of the main city airport; ie. Ryan Air, and others, keep their costs down by flying into remote airports; sometimes quite a ways from your destination. And go to the airlines website and check the baggage restrictions. Size and weight, and the limit of what you can carry on the plane (one item....ONLY) are much stricter than many over-the-pond airlines. We found that out the hard way, when we were flying back last year on Ryan Air, and I had packed my bag (overweight!) with Carol's EU purchases/finds. Steve
