So that’s the plan, just wondering if anyone has done this from US through Calgary to Paris. Do I have to get my bags or go through Canadian immigration even if I am not staying in Canada? It’s an hour and a half lay over so I’m a little nervous. But seats are booked so just looking for tips.

I can't answer that...but after your trip if you are coming home via Calgary to the US, there is a US Customs and Border Preclearance in Calgary, so when you get off the plane in the US it's like arriving home on a domestic flight.

Being from Calgary I've never needed to make a connection through YYC but you do need to clear Canadian Customs. The terminal is pretty efficient and 1.5 hours shouldn't be an issue. I believe you do have to collect your bags and recheck. The signage is good and you'll see white cowboy hatted volunteers available to point you in the right direction.

We did this last year. No need to re-check bags. 1.5 hour connection is plenty.
