Flying through in Lisbon?

Hello everybody,

I am, very tentatively, looking at flights from the Washington DC area to Seville. Several of the flights I'm finding go via Lisbon, but with only 1 hour and 50 allotted for the change. Can other posters who've flown through Lisbon comment on the feasibility of deplaning and going through passport control in that amount of time? I know that, if delayed, the airline is responsible for getting me on the next flight, but I'd rather avoid that if I could. I have a U.S. passport and would be taking carry-on luggage only.

Thanks!
Caroline

you should be ok there are only two terminals.
look at what terminal your connecting flight is in; (you did not say which airline you are using which would help)

finally you should consider the difference in the cost of a flight with a longer layover
than the 1 hour and 50 minutes to help you decide

Last April, I flew between the East Coast and Seville with a connection at LIS. TAP and White Airways (operated by TAP). The ~2 hour connection was smooth and leisurely, with no need to pick up my checked in luggage. Note that there was an hour of time zone difference.
