Condor is now flying from Seattle to Europe. Their prices are amazing! I'm a little hesitant because we do like comfort on long haul flights and willing to pay a little more for it. Could someone share their experience on flying them? We usually fly Iceland air and have been very happy. Thanks!
We took Condor from Frankfurt to Seattle when we moved home from Italy last October. My advice would be to spring for Premium seating, that is not Business Class but in the front of the Coach cabin with extra room and services. Try to get two seats on the window side (i.e., A & B) so you will not have seatmates. We enjoyed it as much as any transatlantic trip. We'll no doubt use Condor again.
Condor flies from Portland also. We've purchased, but haven't traveled yet, premium economy seats for June. Condor's premium economy cost slightly less than basic economy on Delta or another legacy airline. So we'll let you know how it goes. I'm counting on enjoying the extra legroom, etc.
Condor's great. I fly them whenever it works out for our trips. Upgrade to Premium Economy is worth it. Video offerings on board are great. Food is as fine as airplane food gets. I like them and I appreciate their fair pricing.
Any other recent experiences? Premium economy seats don't seem that much bigger - what else makes it worth it?
I am thinking about buying tickets since they are one of the only nonstop options from our city.
Return flight to the States a couple years ago on Condor. Good experience, choose Premium.
Aly--- what class have you flown on Iceland Air? Do the biz class ( Saga) seats have foot rests?
Thanks, there's not much online about them... some pretty bad experiences but it can't happen all the time :)
Condor is also flying out of New Orlens (MSY) Airport.. thinking about using them as well for my next trip to Europe..
Comfort/premium economy seats are not bigger, but there is more legroom between rows.
