Florence Italy Apartments

We are planning a trip to Italy and want to rent an apartment for the month of September in Florence. Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with Apartmentsinflorence.net? Or do you have other suggestions of websites that you have used successfully. Thanks for your help

Try airbnb. I used them for London and Barcelona and was very happy with the apps. I booked an apt in Florence thru them for an Oct visit.

I use vrbo.com and homeaway.com to find apartments. If you need an apartment for an entire month you will need to find something ASAP. You may have to split your time between a couple of apartments if you can't fine something for your whole stay.

Thanks to both of you--- we ended up using Apartments in Florence for that part of the trip and so far so good. Also used HomeAway for other bookings--- and think I like it best since you get in touch with the owner immediately. Also thanks for the ASAP nudge--- this is our 1st time doing this and had no idea you needed to book really early, but in almost all cases our 1st choice was already booked.

I just used Airbnb for an apartment in Florence two weeks ago and it worked out great. We stayed right near the Palazzo Vecchio. My co-worker goes to Florence regularly and stays in the same place she found on VRBO (it was booked when we were going to be there).

In April this year we rented an apartment which looked out on the Duomo through VRBO. It was wonderful. It had 3 bedrooms and 2 baths so may have been larger than you need. The location was super with a balcony that looked out on the Duomo and Bell tower. We have used VRBO in London, Paris, Nice, Rome and Florence and never had any problems.
