Flight Layover Time in Paris Before Flight to Warsaw

Hi experts, We are flying from Atlanta to Warsaw. We fly from ATL into CDG and have a 1 hour 45 minute layover scheduled before our next flight to Warsaw. We booked thru Delta as an Air France flight to CDG, then to Warsaw. We arrive in Terminal F in CDG and likely fly out of Terminal E to Warsaw. I hope we have enough time to clear customs, then walk to the next terminal. I ran this thru Grok and it said we would be tight but I walso wanted to see if anyone has experience with this itinerary. Thanks in advanced for suggestions.

You are probably arriving at Terminal 2E and flying out of Terminal 2F??

I've timed a transit (on Delta/AF) arriving from Seattle and departing for Milan. It took me 1h5m to walk moderately from the door of the plane parked at M gates at 2E to the gate in 2F without stopping. This was before the implementation of EES which may or may not be being used on your particular flight day.

You will follow the yellow signs that say Correspondence for your connections and it will point you to 2F.

Since you are booked thru on one ticket AF will put you on the next available flight with seats if you miss it. I recommend you prepare yourselves by being ready for security in 2F by having your pockets empty, belts off and being ready to remove your 3-1-1 bags if you are doing carry on. The trend is not to have to remove the 3-1-1 liquids BUT better to have them handy and not needed than to have to dig.

It's very hard to make any kind of definitive statement, since so much relies on
conditions you may not know until the day of your flight:

  • weather
  • actual gates for arrival and departure
  • seat location on inbound plane
  • possible strikes

As noted, AF will get you to Warsaw without further cost since your flights are all
on the same ticket.

I wouldn't trust anything Grok says until the day of the flight, and only then if it's
smart enough to consider real-time conditions.

It would be prudent to confirm what the next flight to Warsaw is after the one you're
booked on. If it's 1 or 2 hours, then not too much to be concerned about. If it's 5-6
hours, then you know if you need to hustle or ask for help should things get tight.
