I have my itineray put together and would like some advice on campgrounds (for caravans) that are convenient to the cities and sites I want to visit. Before I leave my itinerary, are there any good campground guides available?

Nothing specific, but it does seem that I did run across a book specifically focusing on campgrounds, both tent camping and caravans. It is a popular form of travel for the locals, less so for Americans, so you may have to dig to find something in English or specifically look for something targeted to the UK. WELL...now that I said that, I did a quick search for "Europe Caravan Travel" on Amazon.co.uk....the British Amazon site and came up with a whole list of books: http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=europe+caravan+travel
Shipping may be a bit more, but maybe worth the cost. I did the same seach on the US site, did find one or two, but not the variety of the UK site.

You will find several books which will meet your need if you visit a nearby large bookstore.
Ten years ago when I was searching for campgrounds I found 4 or 5 good books listing useful addresses in European countries. I found them at Borders and Barns and Noble.
If that doesn't work for you, do a google search for "campgrounds London" or any other towns.
