We are going to Europe in June/July, and we had seen a bath on a show from a couple years ago. He said it lasted about 3-4 hours, their were about 12 different rooms to go in. A women took you around from bath to bath. I think it was in Germany, but cant remember, does anyone know where it is and what its called? Thanks, karen

As the previous post mentioned, it sounds a lot like Baden-Baden in western Germany. Check the Germany Guidebook as all the details are listed.

Yep. Baden-Baden. Been there and loved it. I believe it is called the Friedrich's Spa or something similar to that. It's totally awesome! You have to be comfortable with co-ed nudity. And even if you are not, suck it up and try anyway. When will you ever see any of these people in life again? :) Except at dinner that night...which is kinda weird.

The one we went to was the Roman-Irish bath in Baden-Baden. Now, this was 12 years ago when we were there, but there wasn't a woman who took you around, but there were signs in German and English directing you. This was also before the euro, prices and exchange rates are different, but at the time, it was only $30. Best $30 I ever spent.
You also have to get used to the fact that Europeans are much more comfortable with nudity than we are. There were no bathing suits permitted there, and we were there on a coed day. The bath did have days where the sexes were separated, too.
