I'll be returning to Paris on April 13th, staying in the Rue Cler area for one week. My first trip to Paris, I had a severe allergic reaction (we don't what caused it), which I let go too far and resulted in emergency care in Italy. I'd like to have the name/number of a dr handy, just in case! I know I should start at the pharmacy first, which i did last time, and still needed to find a doctor. Bonjour~ Joy

Your hotel will be able to help you as well as the local pharmacy. They will know which doctors are available and may speak English. They will also know the location of the nearest hospital.

Check the American Embassy website as they will list English speaking doctors who will also be likely to accept American insurance plans or at least be familiar with them.

check out this hotel if you want to be close to doctors and pharmacy AND it seems to be a great hotel right at Notre Dame.
