I found this website today and thought it was pretty good. Do you have any good websites for festivals in any of the countries here in Europe to add to this?

The European Festival page here on the RS website that you linked to Steve, has exactly 10 festivals listed for Germany. 10 Festivals! in a country that has 100's and 100's of fests each year. It has the holidays, but not very many festivals, so it is not a very comprehensive list. The websites that I and others have posted is a lot more useful to the traveler and lists these 100's of festivals, for every town or city that someone may be visiting. We are hopeful that Rick will be able to use these listings for his website and books.
Take a look and compare, please, and you will see the difference.

Thanks for posting this, Jo. Some of our best travel memories are from little festivals that we've just happened upon, like the 100th anniversary of the volunteer fire department in Wehlen, complete with a fake fire in the schoolhouse.

Frommers.com also has a calendar of festivals. It's much more comprehensive than RS but far from exhaustive.
