Hello, I would like to buy a ferry ticket online, but don't know if it is necessary. Do they ever fill up and do the prices go up as the time gets closer? We will begin in Dubrovnik and then travel north to Istria. Our first day in Dubrovnik is August 1. Then can anyone help us with an itinerary including islands and Istria? We need to be in Venice on Aug 13 or early Aug 14. The ferries don't seem to run on a daily basis and I have noticed that you can get hotels at a good price on aferry.to. We could go on the ferry on Aug 13 from Rabac. When looking up Rabac in the guide books, it says not much is there. We could leave from Pula on the 14th, but not have very much time in Venice since we will be flying from there to Greece at 1 pm on the 15th. Is there another ferry company from Northern Croatia to Venice? How easy is it to get to Venice by land and how many days does it take?
