Has anyone taken a ferry from Hull, UK to anyplace in Netherlands or Belgium?

We took the ferry in May to Rotterdam and is was great. I would recommend that you add the food package and you don't have to eat the Buffet but can use the resturant.

I've not taken this ferry, but I've friends who have taken the ferry from Newcastle to Holland and they had no problems. They were on vacation to Scotland and picked up the train north on the way to Scotland and caught a train south on the way back to Holland from Inverness. I think that the earlier poster has offered good advice. ; ) Pam
