Anyone have any thoughts on the kindle for iphone? Likes, dislikes. Is it worth buying the RS downloads or is lugging books around better? I am in a position where I may bring 3 RS books on my 4 country trip this November/December but if get enough + feedback on the kindle for iphone, I may just purchase the $10 downloads.

Steve, Do the RS kindle downloads take up much space (gigs) on the iphone? Also, can it be accessed in airplane mode?

I also have the Kindle software for my IPod Touch. Love it! I have loaded a few of Rick's books to my IPod. One trick is to pre-set bookmarks on the sections of the book that I will want to use while traveling.
The Ipod/Kindle software is one of the best travel light tips that I have found this year.

We downloaded the Kindle app. for our itouch snd put Rick's Rome guide on it. It was fantastic and we loved the convenience of carrying something small for the guided museum tours he has in the book. The only drawbacks were the pages with the maps were small and finding a certain page quickly.
