Feedback needed for trip to Portugal/Spain

Hi, I am travelling to Lisbon, Portugal in August with the final destination Madrid. I have been to Madrid and Seville before, So I am using them for travel purposes versus actually wanting to stay there for long periods of time. I need feedback on following itinerary: Aug.16-arrive Lisbon Aug. 17-tour Lisbon Aug. 18- tour Sintra Aug 19- 3 hour Bus to Algarve Aug 20-Algarve-Cave tour Aug. 21-Algarve???? or go to Seville enroute to Granada??? This is where I need feedback...wondering if I should make a stop in Seville which is halfway, or, spend the entire day going from Algarve to Granada. I have been to Seville before. I just thought taking a 4 hour bus, then 3 hour train in one day would be too much...thoughts? Aug 22-Algarve to Granada-all day travel? or, Seville to Granada (3hour train)? Aug 23-Granada-Alhambra Aug 24-Granada Aug. 25-4 hour Train to Madrid Aug. 26 leave for home.
Thanks!

Having just returned from Spain, and having been in Sevilla on a day when it was already 100 degrees (in May), I can't imagine how hot it will be in late August! If you have already been there and seen the major sites, I would probably choose to just get past it and on to Granada. If you make the stop, what would you do with your time once you arrived? To me, an air-conditioned bus and train sound preferable to tromping around in 100 degree heat to see things you have already seen.
