Favorite Travel Websites/Blogs:

Hi Everyone, I know this question has been asked before, but I thought maybe over the past 6 mos-1 year, there were some new blogs and/or websites that have started up that I (and many others) don't know about. These could be for newbies just getting into traveling (who need to learn more about the basics, such as train travel for instance) or for seasoned vets. So, what are your favorite travel websites/blogs for information (besides RS of course): Here's a few to get us started: Other large forums, such as www.tripadvisor.com, www.frommers.com, and www.fodors.com Www.seat61.com Www.frugaltravelguy.com
Www.flyertalk.com Depending on how big this list gets, maybe it could be another 'stickie' at the top of the forums. I'm always looking for new information and blogs, so I look forward to your suggestions. :)

For getting info, more than conversing about topics, I like Wall Street Journal's "Middle Seat" column in their travel section on wsj.com For cruise information/conversations, I like cruisecritic.com. Another good information source is seatguru.com.

I always look at a country's (or city's) visitor information website, especially under the "planning your trip" or "before you arrive" sections. There can be good basic information on these sometimes and often there are links to other travel websites as well.
