I would love to hear about your favorite house rental in Europe! Our family of four would love to base our trip on a fantastic house to rent this June assuming it’s available which is proving to be challenging. Bonus if it has a pool and a view. We initially were looking at south west France but lots of places are booked. Would prefer a rural setting but open to any suggestions. Suggested booking sites other than Airbnb would also helpful. Thank you!!

I'd be looking for an agriturisimo south of Florence, Italy--and north of Orvieto.
Virtually every farm in Central Italy has apartments, rooms and often guest houses as a source of additional income. We stayed in one outside of San Gimignano south of Certaldo.
You can Google agriturisimos or look in Booking.com. They're very easy to find online.
And with a rental car, the day trips into the countryside visiting hill towns are simply wonderful.

Wonderful recommendations! Thank you! We’ve never rented a house in Europe mostly staying in condos or apartments so this will be a nice change.
