Thanks!

Why aren’t you posting this on the Ireland forum?

The place I’ve stayed has been sold so can’t recommend because I don’t know the owners.

That said I know friends who loved their stay at the Lighthouse BnB.

I just wanted more input for those that are not looking at the Ireland forum.

Thanks!

We stayed at Milltown House while on our RS tour. Nice place, I'd stay there again.

We loved our full bay view at Cill Bhreac House. It’s on the western edge of Dingle, about a 10 walk from the harbor. The Castlewood and Milltown House B&Bs looked nice too but we loved our full bay view.

We also enjoyed Cillic Breack (horrible spelling ) stayed twice but understand was sold since we were there several years ago so don't know if it is still good. If reviews are good it does have great second floor balcony for great views over the bay. Have also stated at the Lighthouse twice and it was very good. Same people have owned it quite some time and it is close to town and great place. Dingle is great.

We loved Milestone House (a different establishment from Milltown House). It's located at the start of the Slea Head drive. The beds were comfy, breakfast delicious and Barbara and Michael are wonderful hosts! Barbara sits down with all her guests to go over a local map and discuss the sites, restaurants, local events etc. in the area. She has some great stories to tell and Michael's soda bread is excellent! We enjoyed our stay so much on our first trip to Ireland that we went back again on our next trip.

I have a friend who stayed at Milestone House so I contacted them. They are no longer doing a B & B but turning the house into two- two bedroom self catering. I think it is getting to be too much for them to keep the B & B up.

Thanks for all the recommendations!

I would suggest Castlewood House. We stayed there last year and it was wonderful. A great location and the best breakfast. Check out their breakfast menu on their website. We just booked 6 nights there for next year and can't wait. We had a beautiful room with a great view of the bay. Within easy walking distance of the town.
