Anyone can tell me their favorite beach/city/day tour in Malta and Cyprus?
I travel solo, am on a budget, and am very active. I don't mind a drink in a bar but not going just for nightlife. A mix of being active and relaxing is how I see this trip. I will be going late May.

Hi Val, I went to Malta last summer and loved the island of Comino, which is between Malta and Gozo and has an incredible Blue Lagoon. You can get out to the port of Ċirkewwa pretty easily from the main towns on Malta. I found the bus system in Malta to be very convenient and easy for the most part. I also enjoyed the Hop-on, Hop-Off bus routes around the island. From Cirkewwa, the boat takes you right to the blue lagoon, which is a beautiful place to spend the day relaxing. Make sure you buy a round trip boat ticket as it makes the process of getting back to Malta easier. You can also try to get on one of the boats back that makes a more scenic trip and checks out some of the caves around Comino. I also liked the towns of Rabat and Mdina on Malta which are also easy to get to by bus and right next to each other.
