Has anyone had experience in using the FastTicket Machines in London (St. Pancras) to pick up prepaid train tickets, using a USA credit card ? I can register (on the GNER website) using the UK hotel address, but I still will have a US credit card. I'm concerned - what if the machine doesn't give us our tickets.

Two years ago I used my US credit card at a Fast Ticket machine at Paddington Station to pick up my pre-booked tickets. No problem.

And if there is a problem with the machine - which happens from time to time even if you have a UK address- just go to the manned ticket counter at the station and they'll print them out.

I've picked up tickets numerous times. As long as the credit card matches and you've got your confirmation number, you're set.

Friendly reminders: 1) The Fast Ticket machine will require the same credit card you used for the online purchase; and 2) You will need to input the Fast Ticket reference number that was generated at the time of purchase.
