Family-Friendly Hotels in S France / N Italy / Switzerland?

I was warned that it would be an issue trying to find hotel rooms that accommodated a family of four (2 children 5 & 4) in Europe, and that has certainly proven to be true. I have been checking Hyatt, Hilton, IHG, Marriott, etc. - pretty much anything I can transfer points to from Chase or AMEX. Most every room accommodates two, maybe three with a pullout or rollaway. I’m primarily planning on staying in Airbnbs anyway, but had hoped to intersperse a few stays at hotels. Anyone have any suggestions on family-friendly hotels in the south of France (Nice, Marseilles, Montpelier, etc.), northern Italy (Florence, Tuscany region, Venice, Lake Como), or Geneva that I can book with points? Thanks!

If you look on booking.com they have a wide variety of accommodations - more than Expedia or Trip Advisor. You can be very specific with your search filters and look for a hotel that will have the configuration you want.

Can’t help you with the points issue, but Anita is correct about Booking.com. Great way to search for the configuration you need, whether in a hotel, B&B, or apartment. Perhaps a search there will yield properties that will take your points.

Accor hotel chain is french but has many hotels in Europe. From 5 star Sofitel to more economy Ibis budget hotel.
Ck the Accor website. They have their own reward program so points prob would not work.
All levels are managed well.

I second booking.com as a great way to find larger hotels. Also, we are also points junkies and booked two rooms at several hotels this summer in Europe (e.g. 2 Four Points by Sheraton in Barcelona, 2 Hiltons in Zurich, and 2 Best Westerns in Bern). We had connecting rooms some of the time.
