Hello fellow world travelers! We are getting ready for our first European trip with family (hubby, I , 9 year old and 5 year old) in December for 15 days. We are flying into London and flying out of Paris. Those tickets are booked and final so that leg of journey is fixed. I am looking at recommendation for the third country/city that we should explore. Here is what we were thinking:
London -(train) Edinbrough/York (flight)- Paris
London - (train) Brusells/Bruge (train) - Paris
3.London -(flight) Madrid/Barcelona (train) - Paris
I understand all three options have their own pros and cons and unique charm but we were hoping to select an option that is conducive to travel with family/ somewhat cost effective and fun:) Also I understand that it is the coldest time to be in Europw so we are realistic with our expectation regarding weather:) we were thinking of spending 3 days in London and 5 days in Paris so have about 5 days in between to accommodate third option.
Really appreciate expert option and things we should consider while choosing the “third/middle” leg of our trip. Thanks for your help!
