I have been to all the cities you listed except Cesky Krumlov. They are all great places, but I think 3 nights each would be enough for Prague and Vienna.

Amsterdam is good for four nights. Recommend the taking a tour of the Zyder Zee from Amsterdam as well as the wonderful art museums in the city.

This is all very subjective, but: because you are arriving in Prague jet lagged there is an "okay" argument for 4 nights, but I would still only do 3, Vienna just didn't speak to me so I would do more than 3, and then only if I spent a day at Melk / Wachau Valley. You are one night light in Budapest.

So if you cut one night out of either Prague or Vienna then add it to Budapest. If you cut 2 nights out then either plan a full day in Gyor/Pannonhalma Archabbey or spend the night on the way to Budapest.

I think your itinerary is perfect as is...you have plenty of time to hit the highlights at a relaxed, unhurried pace. You'll also be able to venture out of the cities and see other things. In Prague you could head out and see Konopiste or one of the other beautiful castles. Vienna - you have time to venture to Melk abbey. In Budapest you have time to enjoy one of the thermal baths if you like! I wouldn't change a thing.

I would not change the plan, whether you use the time for day trips or stay in the cities, you can decide while there. I've stayed 5-7 days in Vienna on a couple of occasions, when I had the time.

If you decide to cut something, cut Amsterdam and Cesky Krumlov. Add that time to somewhere else.
