Extra days in Rome after cruise

Have booked 3 extra nights in Rome after a cruise. Did book Pristine Sistine Early Entrance Small Group Vatican Tour which I believe was a Rick Steves' recommendation for one of the days.
Looking at booking Boat-Hopping on Amalfi Coast: Day trip from Rome. Any recommendation?

Too short of a time to take a day away from Rome.

Agree completely. If you want to do something outside the hustle and bustle of Rome, consider Ostia Antica. Easy to get there using public transportation, excellent site for ruins, and with an early start you can be back in the city by mid-afternoon.

We have been to Rome before . Looking for something else.
Found a tour thru walks of Italy to Amalfi coast
High speed train , then ferry to different sites
8:30am- 9:30pm.
$262.00 per person
Probably last trip to Italty
Just wondering if a trip to the Amalfi is worth it.

Does Rick Steves have recommendations?

Rick’s guide book is not up to date where Vatican Museum ticketing and tours are concerned due to fairly recent changes in just the past few months. You will not have early entrance with your tour, no matter what they call it. You will enter at 8 am with the rest of general public. Make sure you have realistic expectations here.

If you want to go to the Amalfi Coast and think you have previously seen the main Rome sights that interest you, why not book a few days there instead of Rome?

We once stayed at an agriturisimo 20 miles south of Rome in Zagarolo--Olivetreehill.com. Our host took us to the train station and we'd go into Rome for the day.

Then we realized there is so much to see in the Rome suburbs. He took us to the top of a mountain to Castle San Pietro Romano and we walked down 2,500 year old walking paths to Palestrina--a pagan temple. It was discovered buried after the Allied bombings of WWII. There are also gardens and palaces of the Popes and Ostia Antica. Zagarolo is where the helmets for Roman soldiers were made, and where they trained gladiators in an amphitheatre.

Our B&B host also does a tour of Rome in the middle of the night to show the city and tourist sights in a completely different light.

There's almost as many sights to see in the suburbs as within Rome.
