Experiences staying at a Yotel in the airports?

Will be flying in to Charles DeGaulle in a few months and will have a 7 hour layover. We are considering booking a cabin at the Yotel which is scheduled to open in July in located in Terminal 2. Has anyone ever stayed at their other locations in Amsterdam or London? Looking for feedback on their cabins and service. Thanks!

Yes, I stayed at the Gatwick Yotel last month. We loved it for having a bit of a nap during a long layover. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, and the check in quick and easy.

The only 2 drawbacks:

  1. Our flight to London was delayed, so we missed 3-hours of our 5 1/2 hour time, even though I'd left a bit of a cushion, but that is not Yotel's fault--just something that could happen.
  2. The bathroom is so close to the bed--right next to it--and there was a faint urine odour.

Overall, though, I would definitely stay again.

I stayed at the Schiphol Yotel. Very efficient use of space. I didn't need a room key so much as a can opener.

Stayed at the Heathrow Yotel a few years ago. Check in and out was easy and efficient. The hourly rate made more sense than getting a room at a regular hotel for the short time I was there. Single is a very small room, if you can call it a room as most closets at hotels feel larger, and the bathroom is not a separate room but just a shower curtain separating it from the bed. But after a long cramped flight, it was perfect for a nap and then a quick shower before facing the day. Didn't stay long enough to experience any of their services.
