First, has anyone here use/d this app? If yes, what is/was your experience? Here's my story. I was in Sahagún, Spain, on May 28. I wanted to visit a church outside the town, and because I couldn't find any public transportation, I decided to take a taxi. I Googled, and Bookeo24 came up. I booked a ride, but no taxi or notification appeared for 15 to 20 minutes. I decided to cancel and hit the button on the app. Nonetheless, a bill for euro $45.59 showed up on my credit card account. I didn't contest it, as I thought the cancellation time limit had passed and attributed it to my own carelessness. Fast forward to yesterday, and I got a notification from the CC company that a new charge was made by Bookeo24 on June 30 for $44.56. I have been back since June 19. I started digging, and immediately Google AI flagged the company as a known fraud. I clicked on a link to Trust Pilot, and the reviews are universally bad, with everyone pretty much recounting my experience, including the fact that Bookeo24 automatically enrolls you in a monthly subscription. That part wasn't clear, as far as I can recall, on their website. It could be that I missed it on my phone screen with the bright sun beating down. Interestingly, they don't have an app that can be downloaded (on Play Store at least), but a website accessed via a browser. Anyway, long story short, I sent a message to the 'contact' to reverse the charge. Also, they have a window where you can cancel the subscription, which I used. I contacted my CC company as well. I'll see where it leads, especially if I get another subscription charge at the end of this month. Based on my experience and online reviews, I would never use them again. I did search for Bookeo24 here, but no hits came up. Your mileage may vary.

It might be a wise idea to just download and register with Uber, Bolt and Freenow. Even if you don't use them, it will be easier, and more trustworthy, if you have to use them.
Scammers know how to get high placement on Google.

I use Lyft and Uber routinely in the US and Bolt in Europe. Bolt was not available in this town.

I have to ask - what exactly did you ask Googled for?
I've just searched for Sahagún espana taxi and google gave me a map of the town with three red pins marking local taxi people followed immediately by their direct links. And although there was a lot of chaff down the page (like Rome2Rio) there was no sign of Bookeo24.
The homepage of Bookeo24 does show that it is €39 per month subscription, and a company address /phone number in Dublin,

Don't remember exactly what I Googled while in Spain, but most likely something like 'taxi service in Sahagún, Spain'. As I said, I may have missed the subscription info on my phone display and was/is aware that they are an Irish company. I don't have an international plan here in the US, therefore trying to avoid calling them for now. Waiting to see if they respond to my email.
