Eurostar: Company kept their promise!

We were reimbursed for our delay in London this past December, when the Eurostar trains were not running due to weather conditions (breakdown in tunnel etc). They covered the two extra days we had to spend on hotel, our taxi fare to St. Pancras the day of our departure, and meals, plus our Eurostar tickets.

Our cheque arrived over the weekend! Woohooo. Some people had said they would never travel by Eurostar again, and especially during winter, but once we were up and running, everthing was fine.

I thought you guys might be interested in knowing that some things do work out after all.

Incidentally, we do plan on using Eurostar this summer to get to Brussels.
