european destinations (wenbsite)--any experiences with them?

Sorry, I don't have specific information on them. But, I did look at their Scottish tours, and I found the "Classic Scotland" itinerary a bit odd in that they all feature Aberdeen over the west coast of Scotland. They may be thinking that people want to see the castles and Spey Valley, but if you have a car (as the tour seems to indicate) then I would not stay in Aberdeen, but would stay out in the countryside. If the prices truly include air and a car then they look quite good to me. I'll be interested to see what others say. It seemed like they used Holiday Inn a fair bit, but not always. I hope someone chimes in with direct experience. BTW they are owned by Solar Tours so you might want to ask about experience with the parent company as well. Pam

You might want to Google it. When I started to type "europeandestinations.com", it popped up a list of possibilities including "europeandestinations. com scam". There are several sites that have reviews of this company, pretty equally split between those that had a great trip and those whose vacations were ruined. It seems that, as with most third party bookers, if there is a problem, you are on your own in trying to fix it. Read carefully before making a decision.
