Any person interested in participating in a Europe travel discussion group in the Tampa Bay area in Florida ?
I think a good central location for that is Ellenton in northern Manatee County, at U.S. Highway 301, very near Interstate highway 75. My friend who is a resident at Ellenton said he is able and willing to reserve a pleasant room in a community center at Ellenton, for that purpose. I know at least four adult persons residing in Manatee County who are interested in going to a Europe discussion group (in the Tampa Bay area).

I have to laugh when someone says it has to be a Panera Bread. Several years ago, I noticed that Frank (Centennial) was near me and wrote to him and suggested we get together. We picked Panera because it was between us and has Wifi. Nothing else special. We've been meeting there ever since. And, BTW, guys. Good luck.

Ron, That's a good idea, several groups have been successful. I do believe that it is a requirement to meet at a Panera Bread and there are some out West who will try to extract a license fee from you. Watch them .... ;-)

I appreciate the replies here. If we will do a Europe travel discussion group, located at Tampa Bay area in Florida (in the U.S. of A.) people from Great Britain are invited to participate in it. (Many people who are citizens of and residents at Great Britain go to Florida in the U.S.A. - Gulf of Mexico coast - on holiday). If we plan for such a group meeting, the words Rick Steves will not be in the name of the group. And at the discussion group meeting, there will not be any sales spiel or sales pitch spoken for a business. The discussion will be a non-commercial event. (Brand names, or trade names, of travel accessories and bags, and name of an Airline or hotel can be mentioned. It is like that here at the Traveler's Helpline. Brand names and trade names of products, and name of a business can be mentioned here, but a commercial advertisement by a business is prohibited here).
I hope people residing in Florida will post a reply here. I intend to read this discussion thread at this internet website, one day each week. "Private Message" to me are welcomed.
