What kind of a travel book do you have in mind? Are you thinking of a photo book which you can send to family and friends, or something else?

Connct your digital camera to your desktop computer. Download your pictures to your computer. Open a new document in Microsoft Word or a similar software. See if there is a template for photobooks. Copy your pictures, one at a time, from the picture file and paste them into your document. Adjust the picture sizes, type captions, adjust the margins, adjust the page size depending on how bug you want you rbiok (8x 11 inches? square? 8x8? 10x10?), perhaps make pictures go to the edge of the pages, and so on. When you finish, send your completed file to a self-publishing company like lulu.com or createspace, see what kind of photo books they can print, compare prices, and so on. Or save your file to a miniture USB hard drive, take it to a print store like FedEx or Staples, and tell the employee what you want/ have them help you pick from what kind of photobook they can print for you (paper board or paper, hard cover like a wedding album?, which kind of binding, and so on).

Also you could set up an account on a photo sharing website like Flickr.

If you're talking about a photo book for yourself or for family, we have made several using Snapfish and Shutterfly but are now using Costco as they cost less.

I may be reading a little more into the question. Are you trying to sell your pictures to someone who is publishing a travel book?
