Planning a winter trip to europe in Feb. - April. What are the best things to do in Paris and Italy. Any fun festivals to plan our trip around ? I know it is going to be cold. What about Greece in late March ? We like to sight see, good eating and happy hours.

You said winter and Feb - April. April isn't winter. In some areas April hardly qualifies as shoulder season anymore. April weather in Italy and some other areas can be quite pleasant.
In true winter, many/most travelers go to cities that offer indoor things to do (museums, etc) that are not weather-dependent.

I did Spain in Feb.......Bring warm clothes. However, it never did rain. Now I do Europe in Nov & Dec; rain is a part of my vacation. Bring rain gear, just in case.
