Europe in November/December

I'd like to visit some place warm (60s or more) in late November or early December. Where in southern Europe would you go to spend a birthday?

Spain is cool, but I would spend it on Golden Coast, France. St. Tropez is a nice place.
Or Greece, on the islands.

Even though it wouldn't be in the 60s, I'd go to the UK. I LOVE London and Inverness. And Cardiff...and Edinburgh... and Bath... and York... and Windsor......

Hello Eric. The Cinque Terre (Monterosso) in Italy could have warm air in late November or early December, but there could be cold rain there. The island Crete of Greece could have air that is not cold during late November or early December. If you go to Crete, fly to there. The boats on the Aegean Sea are not reliable during those months. There can be a rain storm from the south, at southern Aegean Sea.

Seville - we were there 2 Xmas's ago and was quite mild. We ate outside most nights without being totally rugged up.

And it is a beautiful city.

Did you mean the temperature or the average age? LOL

Southern Spain, Southern France, Italy South of Rome, Greece are all pretty good bets.

Thanks for your suggestions. I think we'll probably visit southern Spain and France. Hopefully it won't rain too much

And it's to celebrate my 60th.

We were recently in Southern France (around Christmas) and except for Marseilles, it was around freezing everyday with patches of snow. (Including Nice).

Just goes to show, you never know till you go!

French riviera, mainland Spain, Mallorca... all too cold! Europeans go to the Canary island, Cyprus, maybe Crete... Dubai, Abu Dhabi (as far from London or Frankfurt as the Canaries). If Canaries do Tenerife as this is the most interesting island. Oh, Europeans in Nov/Dec also travel to Florida or the Caribbean. Or Thailand, which is equally far from us. In your case I'd do a combination of a German city with the charming and romantic Christmas markets and a Southern European island.
