Europe in 22 days - 5 or 6 cities?

Hi I'm traveling to europe from may 16th until June 6th and my idea was to go to Amsterdam, Berlin, Vienna, Prague and Budapest. Do you think that i can squeeze one more city in my itinerary?? I was thinking in adding Rome or Stockholm. What do you think guys? should i stay with the original 5 or should i add a sixth one?
thanks!

Well i don't count arrival or departure days, you don't really sightsee on them ,, usually get to hotel and wander the neighborhood for arrival day, then on last day you are just going to airport. so that leaves 20 days. 5 cities is enough, remember you lose a day when you travel from place to place. Getting packed, leaving hotel to go to train station, train ride, then finding hotel and checking in at next place, even a short train ride 3-4 hours can take most of the day by the time you are ready to sightsee,,usually end up with late afternoon or evening that day, and many museums and sites don't do evening hours.. so you are just getting accquainted with area on arrival day. Rome and Stockholm are a bit out of the routes too, you would likely be flying which means even more time as you have to get to airports( which unlike train stations are outside of cities) and check in at least an hour and half before flight( unlike trains where you can almost walk on 10-15 minutes before if tickets are printed. ) Two nights in a destination only equals one full day of sightseeing.

I agree with Pat. You have 5 cities in 20 days which comes out to 4 days per city without accounting for travel time. You can get a pretty good feel for Amsterdam in 3 or 4 days but for a big city like Berlin, 4 days barely scratches the surface. It sounds like you aren't thinking about cutting anything but consider leaving out Amsterdam, since it's farthest from the rest. That would give you 4 cities in 20 days and 5 days per city, without factoring in travel time.

Rome and Stockholm are out of your way. Check the map. I think that 5 cities are enough to enjoy. If you want to add another one be it one which is on your way: Dresden, Brno, Bratislava.

They are right. Actual train travel times, which don't include getting from your departure hotel to the train station to your arrival hotel (and of course packing/unpacking, check-in/out): 6.5 hours Amsterdam to Berlin 3 hours Berlin to Prague 5 hours Prague to Vienna
3 hours Vienna to Budapest
