You might buz down to Paris for a couple of days. Between London and Paris for a week, that is as much as you can really do, IMHO. Anything more is just passing through and checking them off a bucket list.

London first. Take Eurostar down to Paris. Fly home from there.

Or London-Amsterdam or London-Belgium.

I'd stay in London. There's plenty to do and lots to see. In a week you won't even scratch the surface. There are also LOTS of day trips you can do easily- Windsor, Brighton, Cardiff, Stratford-upon-Avon, York, Winchester, Canterbury, Dover, etc. Why lose even 1/2 a day to travel and spend money on travel when you have such a great place with plenty to do?!?!?!

With only a week, I would limit it to two cities. I like London and Paris, especially if this is your first trip to Europe. You can take the Eurostar train between the cities. If you have seven nights, you can split it up 4 nights London, 3 nights Paris or vice versa. I would fly into London and back home from Paris.

Hi,

With a full week that depends upon numerous factors, ie interests, how much money you want to spend, whether distance matters, priorities, if you want to fly within Europe, take the train only, etc. Aside from London, what about Berlin, Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Budapest, Vienna, which can done by flying from London or, (Paris by EuroStar) if you rather, take the train, Are you flying back from London?

You could mostly stay in London, but also do easy day trips by train - Bath, Cambridge, etc.
