Eurail Pass vs Swiss Travel Pass/Family Card

Good evening,
We are a family of 4. Ages 60-52-19-15. We are traveling to Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. I am not sure if a Global Eurail Pass or just buying a couple of independent tickets and a Swiss Travel Pass and Family Card is a better deal. I did try to do the individual trip lines but I'm just not sure. If anyone has advice, here are our train travel plans.
1. Berlin to Munich
2-3 Berlin to Fussen and back (possibly could eliminate this if purchased day trip tickets)
4. Munich to Vienna
5. Geneva to Montreux
6. Golden Pass from Montreux to Interlaken
7. Jungfraugh
8. Interlaken to Zurich

Thanks so much for your advice/opinions.

We will be traveling over Christmas and new years. I was thinking maybe I should buy point to point tickets for Germany & Austria and then Swiss travel pass but when I look at the pricing I’m not sure if that’s the more expensive route. It’s hard to tell for sure because I can reserve them yet this far out. Are trains more expensive on holidays?

Train tickets for Germany & Austria do increase as you get closer to travel dates. Last year we bought tickets for early December in August. The prices went up 50% by the time we travelled. Tickets for 12/15 and later will go on sale about Oct. 8th.

Many of the most scenic places in Switzerland are not covered 100% by the STP, such as Jungfraujoch. You might consider the Half Fare Card, which gives you 50% off most travel, and us cheaper than the STP.
