A friend says you can find "car pass" in conjunction with a Eurail pass. I have searched the eurail pages & done a general search. No results. Any one know of such a deal? Are there bundle deals available for this? We plan a 5 day pass for use in Germany, France, Spain & Italy & want to add a car rental for part of the Italy leg. Thanks.

Just get a separate car rental in Italy. Never heard of a car rental bundled with a Eurail pass.

And if you don't know where to look for a car rental, Auto Europe (a broker) is a good place to start.

It's been about 10 years since Eurail+car passes were available. Our info at https://www.ricksteves.com/travel-tips/transportation/trains is updated annually to keep up with the changes.
