EU Short-Stay Visa Calculator - Other Helpful Tools?

For 2026, DH and I will be extending the length of our travel stays in Europe. We are trying to plan 2 or 3 longer trips to be there at certain times for family celebrations and some other time specific events.

Of course this raises the question of complying with the Schengen 90/180 day rule. I have used the official EU "Short-Stay Calculator." It's very helpful in calculating how long we can stay for a trip beginning on a specific date. . However it does not help much for planning multiple trips throughout the year.

I have also used https://www.visa-calculator.com/en, which helps a bit more because it provides examples and an ending date of the time period. Very helpful! Thank you, Mr. E for that previous post!

Question: Does anyone have another calculator that might add to our understanding of the rules and hep us plan multiple trips? Thank you in advance for any input.

BTW, I just found one that seems simple to use. It's an app called Schengen Simple. It does cost $10/year but the first week is free and you can cancel.

I have no connection to it.

By "longer" trips, what do you mean? Going from a couple weeks to a Month? or jumping up to 2-3 months? It is sort of hard for the average person to exceed the limit from a tourism standpoint. What do you imagine the total days of the 2-3 trips to be?

My point being, rather than a calculator, for planning purposes, all you really need do is lay out the trips you wish to take, figure out the total days for any two trips, check if they are within six months and if they exceed 90 days. If things look close, then worry about a calculator.

Thanks to Frank II and Paul for your replies. The back story is that we have a place to stay in Belgium so we're planning 2-3 annual trips, staying about 6 weeks per trip. While that total doesn't seem to exceed regulations, it can get a bit dicey if the trips are too close together. It's good to have multiple sources to check, so I will definitely look at Frank's recommendation for Schengen Simple!

I actually a tool for this purpose because I was struggling to find an existing app or site that supported the features I needed. My wife and I set out in 2024 for a 16-month honeymoon, where, due to work and health, we each sometimes had different itineraries and entry/exit dates to countries.

https://eurovisacalculator.com/

It runs the official calcuations, is up to date for 2026, supports a visual timeline view of your trip, allows multiple travelers to be tracked across multiple trips and re-entries, is free, requires no account or signup, is completely secure (no backend or database) and it's shareable to anybody via the link. Also, because there is no backend, if the site is already loaded on your phone or computer, you can use it offline.

For example, here is my wife's and my itinerary over the last two years. My traveling is all done for the time being, but maybe it'll be useful for you!
