I know most of you don't need a visa to visit Europe, but has anyone needed to get passport photos for a European passport/visa/whatever? The requirements seem quite different from the regular 2x2" US passport photos you would get at Walgreens. Is it pretty easy to get acceptable photos in an easily-accessible place? Now that I'm actually going through the whole visa application process, I'm getting incresingly paranoid about everything!
Germany and UK, which want a "light grey or cream" background. I was thinking of one of those "upload your own photo, we'll size it, and you can print it out at the drug store" websites, but they seam kind of sketchy.
Yes, I have looked at that page thousands of times, my question was more about where I might procure photos that fit these requirements.
Here the CAA (like AAA)will take your picture for your passport in the size required for the relevent country. Any photographic store will also do it for a nominal cost. They have all the requirements on file. We have both UK-EU and Canadian passports, each with different requirements - and never had a problem getting the right photos.
Check with your local AAA office. If you are a member, they should be able to help you. Most do free passport photos, and should be able to make any necessary changes to meet your requirements.
Thanks, I'll try to check that out!
