Since I'm over 70 yrs, I dont care- I still have to apply, but dont have to pay. The ETIAS is good for 3 years
By contrast, the US ESTA is only good for 2 years and allows no seniors exemption.

You pay for the delays. Etias was first proposed 10 years ago, all prices have gone up since then and it's good to see that the EU has come to its senses and it's the non-EU travellers who will pay for that and not the EU taxpayer. And per year it's still cheaper than ESTA...
