I love the Edith Piaf french music. Would like to know a Bistro or whatever where I could go in Paris for that kind of music
Lapin Agile. Montmartre just across the street from the Sain Vincent cemetery. Cabaret is a bit steep (about 25 euro to get in and then an okay first bit of grog, with seconds costing more) and touristy, but worth it if you like that kind of stuff. No grub. Beats Moulin Rouge hands down. Building was painted by Utrillo, Picasso, Lautrec, etc.
The night I ate at Au Cadet de Gascogne, a bistro located on the square in Montmartre by Sacre Coeur, they were performing just that sort of music. I couldn't say how often live music is performed here.
Thank you
We were in Paris in Nov and the Louvre gift shop (the one outside so you don't have to pay for the museum) had a 3 CD set of her music. I'm not a fan but even I enjoyed it.
