Which adaptor (s) do I need for wall plugs (coming from the USA for Vienna, Prague, Budapest?
Thanks for asking the question. I hadn’t thought about it for my June trip. A Google search says “C” and “F”, the generic European round pin adapters. I bought several “C”s a few years ago from RS Travel store and they work fine. They’re cheap so I don’t feel bad when I leave one or two behind at hotels.
Ones like this:

Here's a good depiction with pictures and countries:

I see RS changed their adaptors. They used to sell the ones with the rounded ends that would not work in Switzerland. These new ones that liz linked to above, with the pointed ends, will work in Switzerland, and i assume elsewhere in europe.
I have a serious dislike for the RS adapter. Hang anything heavy on it and it falls out of the outlet (anything like a charger transformer). I do a number of extended trips each year and have settled on these for daily convenience: https://www.amazon.com/Sycon-International-Travel-Adapter-UP-9KU/dp/B07L8S4Z4Z/ref=sr_1_29?crid=3MVJ8Z9FDTOZL&keywords=schuko+adapter&qid=1674595613&sprefix=schuko+adapter%2Caps%2C151&sr=8-29
The shape fits properly in the Schuko outlet, stays put and is properly grounded which on occasion is better.
All 3 countries use the same adapter.
Buy a package with every type of adapter, so you'll have them all and will never be surprised.
Amazon is absolutely dripping with this stuff, spend a little more and they should be sturdier. Also plan on extenders to get out from the wall or floor and perhaps an outlet strip. You can never have enough plugs these days.
