Ebay cell phones and phone number

I know we have several posts on phones but did not what to hijack someone elses post
I just want to know if I buy an ebay phone that is unlocked and purchase my sim cards in each country I go to--does the phone number change? Does the number come with the phone or with the sim card?

Barbara, YES, the phone number changes each time you change SIM cards. The pricing and calling plan details also change, and since menus, etc. are in the language of the country purchased, you may need help setting up each card. How many countries are you going to be visiting? You could also consider buying a SIM card from one of the "travel phone" firms such as Cellular Abroad, Roam Simple, Call In Europe, Telestial or Mobal, as those provide consistent rates within "zones". Most of western Europe is Zone 1, so the rates won't change from country-to-country. These are often provided with a U.K. number, and billing is post-paid (charged to a credit card). Cheers!

Thanks I looked at Roam simple and think that is a great idea as we will be in four different countries... Thanks so much
