eBags Weekender Convertible

Has anyone used this bag? The reviews have been great and its on sale right now on ebags.com for $60, and free ship if you spend $75. I was going to get the ebags packing cubes which will give me free ship.

I've never tried that bag, but it looks good.I just bought a backpack from ebags, National geografic, the 23 in one. It's abckpack plus a daypack you can remove, plus main bag can be converted to a shoulder bag. I wanted something small to be able to use as carry-on.
I paid $89, but I know a trick to get 410 back, plus another $10 as gift certificate.

I have this bag. I took it to Italy for 17 days (my only bag besides a small day purse) and held everything I needed with room to spare.

Pros: soft sided so you can really cram stuff in or cinch down if it's not full; useful internal pockets, especially the outside one; multi-level internal cinch straps; comfy shoulder straps that tuck away neatly; orange lining makes it easy to find stuff inside; fits easily in overhead bins; very lightweight.

Cons: soft sided (fragile stuff isn't as safe, clothes move around); plastic fasteners and zipper are a little flimsy (although mine have never broken); the colors are not as vivid as shown on the website (I picked orange for stand out factor, it's really quite muted); no shoulder strap; a little bit long for shorter folks (I'm 5'0").

I also purchased the flat eBags toiletries kit which fits in this suitcase perfectly. I partially solved the soft sided issues with an Eagle Creek packing folder (kept clothes much neater).
