I'm curious if there will be more crowds around that time because of the Oberammergau Passion Play?
Many of the more touristed areas of Europe become packed during Easter... when I was in Prague in 2006, I probably met more Brits than Czechs. So yes, it would probably be a good idea to book in advanced. I'll be near Brussels this year, and I expect everything to be mobbed.
And to answer the question about the Oberammergau Passion Play causing increased crowds this year... no, because the next showing of the play isn't until 2010.

Alexandra, I don't think the Passion Play is until 2010, so it won't be a factor in Kallie's trip.
