Type "Dubrovnik to Venice" in Google search and you'll get a list of flights. I think they're too far apart to go any other way.

I would also fly, but an alternative is an overnight ferry from Dubrovnik to Bari or Split to Ancona. Each runs only a couple of times per week; www.aferry.com. Then train north within Italy to Venice. Train through Croatia and Slovenia is much slower and starts from Split, not Dubrovnik.

Took a look at kayak and picked an August day and flights were as low as $167-at that price I would fly. Have been to both last year and they were wonderful(after the cruisers' left).
