Hi We are needing to find a nice hotel as close as possible to Dublin airport as possible as we have an ultra early flight. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Sometimes they all look nice on the website!

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express at the Dublin airport for a really early flight, and it was fine -- small rooms and small beds, but clean, modern, and your typical Holiday Inn experience. Their shuttle to/from the airport ran pretty much continuously, and there was a handy bus stop right outside the hotel that went directly to downtown Dublin. I remember that since our flight was so early, they let us grab a couple of breakfast items before the buffet was open.

We stayed at Bewley's by the airport, mostly because they had the best deals for rooms for 4 people and a free shuttle. It's a nice place, pretty isolated, nothing but horses nearby, but they have their own restaurant.

We just stayed at the Carleton next to the airport last week. Easy shuttle to the airport. Nice, full Irish breakfast. Same thing about the bus to downtown from this hotel too.

Another vote for Bewley's. We got an unbelievable rate (under 50 US per room), and it's surrounded by the grazing grounds for the horse track nearby, so all that's around you are beautiful thoroughbreds grazing in fields.
The lobby was a bit loud (bad design), and food was OK, but the rooms were large, quiet, and comfy!
